< Tech — Trust >

Bias, ethics, privacy, and security are all crucial considerations in discussions about AI applications. Ultimately, it revolves around trust. Can we rely on the actions of AI? Does it live up to its promises, or does it harbor a dark side? Beyond human overthinking, some spontaneous behaviors of machines might be a fair correction rather than a deliberate deception.

I’ve always been eager to explore co-creation with AI, and the logical starting point seemed to be using it to assist designers in tackling one of the most frustrating aspects of the design process: image matting. What I received was a reconstruction that seemed to transcend my conscious thoughts. The plants were now unrecognizable, prompting me to reconsider the images with a different perspective. It turned out to be a creative process that unfolded independently of my intentions, surpassing even my initial expectations.
